our correspondent & principalMrs. Shanthakumari Jayaprakash, the correspondent and Principal of the Sivarathna Vidyalaya Nursery & Primary school., M.A, M.Ed, MPhil graduate, journeyed towards the field of education fuelled by her passion for children. After being trained in the Montessori education method she was impregnated with the idea to create an educational medium for the children to reflect upon.
Her passion for education and supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the past 27 years. Started her career in 1990 as a English & History teacher with St.Charles school nurturing young minds she moved forward with establishing her career in 1993 as a Principal of Anusha Matriculation School, Thirunagar and Anuraj Matriculation School, Thirumangalam. She ensured the success of each and every student and the school, by providing the best instructional and extracurricular opportunities. She had a keen desire to see a radical change in schools and the teaching system. This desire inspired her to launch Sivarathna Vidyalaya Nursery & Primary School. |

Our chairmanOur Chairman, Mr. Jayaprakash is not only a Founder but a real force behind Sivarathna Vidyalaya Nursery & Primary School. After completing his masters in Commerce from Chennai he worked as a civil servant in Madurai C.B.I court for over 20 years. However, his interest laid elsewhere. He had a keen desire to develop a better educational institution and help nurture young talents. This desire inspired him to launch Sivarathna Vidyalaya school. Armed with a professional degree and the passion to work with children he along with Mrs.Shanthakumari Jayaprakash laid the foundation of Sivarathna Vidyalaya School at Thanakkankulam in 2018.
Mr. Jayaprakash is its mentor and holds the beacon light for the school. |
